现在卖了违反规则吗# Stock

2号卖了其它股票并买入一个股票，今天想把它卖了。
可是下单时提示会有good faith violation. 可是当天卖的股票的钱（买完新股票剩下
一点）显示已经settled. 新买的股票在历史纪录里显示会在5号settled，可是为什么
会有这个提示呢？
(013013)The sell order you are about to place includes shares that are not
yet settled (paid for). Please be aware that if there are insufficient funds
to cover your original purchase, this sale may result in a Good Faith
violation.

是不是它家的提示系统不够clever，算不过来帐啊

因为你是cash account啊，卖就需要3天settle的
如果是margin account就立刻settle，upgrade一下吧，只要不用margin没啥坏处

2号买的，已经三天了。怎么提示说不settle呢

I encountered the similar issue. And I contacted etrade, they told me as
long as three days settlement, we are fine. The error message is not
accurate. I asked them if it is a system bug but of course they wouldn't
admit it.
Mon Tuesday Wednesday Thursday
Buy after immediate sell you can sell again.

嗯。已经卖了。
我觉得是他家网上提醒系统不够聪明，把它不确定的违规也提醒了。
