貌似有人打了
I just called as an owner and the guy I spoke to said that the battery,
charging components on the car and home charging unit have been definitively
rules out as a cause of the fire. He of course couldn't tell me the exact
cause but he made it quite clear that it is almost for sure not a fault of
any Tesla-related part.
I asked him about NHTSA and asked about whether NHTSA is aware of this since
it happened a few weeks ago. He said yes they do know but wouldn't go
further than that.
I think this is almost certainly a non-issue as it was caused by something
not rated to Tesla.
It will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow to the stock.

tsla的原话没有 几个月前tsla就已经承诺任何着火无论主动被动 都会陪

这是原话,说正在调查,着火和电池没关系。
“Dealing with occasional fires is something that every car company has to
do, as no vehicle is completely fireproof under all circumstances. What
matters is the number of such incidents per car, and it is worth noting that
gasoline car companies experience an average of five to ten times more
fires per car than Tesla. Also extremely important is the fact that there
has never been a serious injury or death in a Model S as a result of a fire
or any other cause. The Model S continues to have the best safety track
record of any vehicle in the world. In this particular case, we don’t yet
know the precise cause, but have definitively determined that it did not
originate in the battery, the charging system, the adapter or the electrical
receptacle, as these components were untouched by the fire.”
