I brought an option and it expired, but when I check on the gain/loss on the
account, I didn't see it at all, I only see the gain that I have when I
sold an option. Is that mean I will need to make my own record for future
tax purpose?

Don't worry. It will be on your 8494 form from the broker.
There is a change in 2014. These tradings will also be reported to IRS. But
not for 2013. Does this mean that I can hide my gain from option trading in
2013?
