It is not a auto company, and it doesn't make any sense to compare it to any
auto company, weather it is GM, Ford or Porsche. Tesla will be a technology
company focusing on Electric Car Power Train Solutions to the auto industry
. It needs Tesla model S, X or whatever models to break the ground of EV.
Then the company will provide the technology and electric car powertrain
package to other companies. So there will still be Ford and GM cars around,
but they will all have one thing in common, a Tesla heart, pretty much like
the computers have an Intel heart.
So, long TSLA.
