do you use ib service? they suck! they automatic exercised my option call on
xom on expiration day! I argued and they claimed that because I did not
have enough fund to buy the shares if the option expired! anyway, I feel
that ib starts the downhill road. I have since transfered most of my funding
to another account, leaving only about 25k with ib.

和你的broker有关，像IB好像都不支持itm的option expire

像IB好像都不支持itm的option expire
Correct. IB does not support itm option expire on the OE day.

如果你没有钱excise他们应该收盘前帮你自动卖掉，这没什么不对的

what did they do? did they buy stocks for you? cause margin call, then sell
stock, and then buy, margin call, sell...?
