According to the lawsuit, Celladon misstated or failed to disclose adverse
information regarding the prospects for MYDICAR—the Company’s promising
investigational drug for heart failure patients, including that: (1) success
in the CUPID1 trial was not indicative of any success in the CUPID2 trial
since the CUPID1 trial was extremely small; and (2) the Company’s existence
was tied to the trial results and defendants were aware of their
limitations. When the true details entered the market, the lawsuit claims
that investors suffered damages.
