JOB DESCRIPTION
We are new parents in our mid-30's looking for a full-time live-out Mandarin
-speaking nanny for our baby boy, starting when he is 4 months old.
We are looking for a warm, nurturing, and emotionally-giving caregiver who
will be attuned to our baby's needs and cultivate a strong sense of trust
with him.
We would need the caregiver to start in mid July or beginning of August; we
expect to need care for at least eight months, but probably longer.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibility would be caring for and helping our baby boy grow
in a healthy, well-rounded manner. We would like a caregiver who is
educated in early child development and is interested in supporting the
healthy growth of our child in all his capacities --emotional, physical,
social, and cognitive. This includes lots of talking and eye contact, walks
to the park and around the neighborhood, tummy time, play, reading stories,
and timely tending to all his physical needs.
Additionally, help with light house chores or errands would be a plus but
not a must; and, in any case, this would only be if time allows as the baby
would always be the priority.
We provide competitive compensation in accordance with qualifications as
well as a professional, respectful, appreciative, and courteous working
environment.
LOGISTIC DETAILS
* Schedule: Live-out. Full-time. Mon-Fri, 8:00-4:30 p.m.
