Sorry I can't type in Chinese.
This happened yesterday when I picked up my son. His teacher told me very
seriously he used "nigger" when he talked to a girl. I told her he doesn't
even know the meaning of the word. Maybe it sounds like "nigger", but he
doesn't mean to use racialistic word against other child. Anyway, she filed
a written report and asked for my signiture. See how careful ordinary people
are regarding to racialism.
Based on this experience, I think it is extremely bad that somebody even
talks about killing all chinese on TV.

以前有个笑话，说俩中国人在末班公车上聊天，被同车黑人打了，因为他们一直说：“
内个（那个）。。。内个。。。”不知道你这儿是不是同样的误会。

他应说的是“那个”。我读书时有个白天人同学很神秘地问我，中国同学总说N字，还
连着说，啥意思？我反应半天才明白，原来我们说的是“那个”。

I don't know if this was just misunderstanding.But I am shocked by the
attitude of his teacher (a white woman). She seemed mad because my son said
that to his classmate.
Think about that show, it made me sick.

多半是老没听错了。我有次跟人聊天，说了几次“你给...”。后来边上的老美跑来提
醒我，说你千万不要在黑人面前说nigger啊。我想了半天，才明白他指的是什么。

明确和老师说，你娃说的是中文。告诉他娃是双语，不要小题大作。没人规定必须说英
文。

你儿子应该说的是“那个”吧。这个事情我们办公室的人开过我很多次玩笑了。有次在
健身房外面讲电话，旁边有个老黑突然对我怒目，当时觉得有些古怪，后来想想可能是
我在电话里说“那个”了。

Update:
I talked to the director about this. I told her I can't believe my son's
teacher would write that report in the first place without even knowing if
my son spoke it or not. Sounds like does not mean it is real. She said she
did not believe that either, and agreed to shred the report.

这个report不要被shred掉，要留着作为证据。。
要求这个老师apologize..both to you and your son..
另外，我还会指正这个白人女老师有种族歧视。。因为你的儿子是中国人，讲双语，她
有意针对。。
不知道你的儿子现在几岁了，小孩在语言的学习阶段，有时说话自己大人都可能听不清
楚，又是双语宝宝，老师怎么可以如此确定你儿子在骂人，如果她在你未到幼儿园之前
就教训了你儿子，那岂不是已经给你儿子造成了心灵上的伤害。。
看mm英文不错，如果我是你，我就自己也写个report，然后告到director，或者更高层
，这老师态度明显有问题。。

Good points. I just don't want to change daycare. it is so hard to find the
right daycare. I checked at least 6 daycare centers 5 miles around my
company. I chose this one----Tutortime--- because it is reasonably priced
and the curriculum is OK. Bright horizon is much better, but it costs at
least $6000 more per year.
