if you read p529 (2004 miscellaneous duduction) page 6:
"Legal fees related to your job:
you can deduct legal fees related to doing or keeping your job."
Well, my institution hires me permanently, and in order to permanently do
and keep the job which results in the taxable income, i must file for the
green card. So i think it's deductible. Look, even the costs for those
citizens
who get "passport for business trip" are deductible.
