OPT 期间（F1超过5年了）SSN medicare tax到底要不要上的？可以退回来吗？（工作
是在学校里）
如果都要上，而且退不回来，岂不是和H1没有什么差别？

怎么说？
如果上学的学校和工作的学校不同，也就是说找工作找到另一个学校去了这个税还要交
吗？谢谢，我正为这些钱感到郁闷呢

for same question, i am reviewing the" jinghua" board and other posts.
I am not in phd school now, was taxed for both, crying.... nominal higher
paid rate than my phd's, but it is much lower after tax withdraw :(

forget to tell: it seems, you can get it waived if your work in your phd
school for some reason.
