确切地说,上次ESP的支票是预支2008年的。如果2007年不够格，2008年够了，可以退
2008年税的时候拿到。

你LP不能工作是不可以拿到社会安全号的（除非你们申请绿卡已收到485收据）。现在
不是申请工卡，而是申请税号（Individual Taxpayer Indentification Number), 去
irs.gov上找form W-7。

今年叫“Recovery Rebate Credit”，和去年的economic stimulus payment 计算方法
一样。但是此credit will be reduced by the economic stimulus payment received
in 2008.
Nonresident aliens are not eligible for this creidt.

in 2007), i can try to get this $600 this year?

Not try, you should be able to get that when you file your 2008 return.

i am using 1040EZ, i could not find anywhere to claim this amount $600.

I am not sure if you really see the actual 1040EZ form. Line 9 is where you
claim your $600.

朋友还是F1，今年刚到第6个报税年，去年是填的NR，没资格拿rebate，今年可以填
1040了，可以claim这个rebate么，谢谢！

You have to be clear about what you talk about.
If 2008 return is your 6th year, you should be able to claim this. If 2009(
今年) is your 6th year, you won't be able to get the rebate.
