以前从没听说过，结果今天icenter的邮件有这么一句话：
TAX Filing Requirements
Whether you worked in calendar year 2008 or not, filing United States income
tax returns with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is required by federal
law and is mandated by your immigration status. This also applies to your de
pendents on F-2/J-2 visas. You may be entitled to a tax refund. Failure to f
ile tax returns may result in having your immigration status revoked.

今年才开始f1 还是没ssn啊。。
