a little bit complex for year 2008.
Me: H1-b; LD: F1->OPT->H1-b; Jointly filing. LD is NR, but she files RA as a spouse of RA.
One job interviewer (in VA) provide her $1000 check as interview
reimbursement. They sent her 1099-MISC.
Do I need to state tax w/ VA?
Can I subtract air-ticket and hotel from $1000? Which form?
She still can get $5000 treaty in her OPT (after 4.5 year F-1), right?
