本人S-corp,有几万块钱，如果算成2008年的收入就可以交08年的税。如果算成09年的
收入就要交09年的税率。我09年的收入预计比08年要高。
一般情况下当然交税越晚越好，可是我在担心巴马上台后，我的税率是不是会提高好多
？大家有何高见？有没有人和我相同的担心？

我是不想早一年交这个税。还有就是看看大家对09年的税率有什么看法。谢谢回帖。

If it is a significant portion, you have to pay estimate tax for the quarter
anyway in a few month.
I'll pay the previous year unless a) cashflow is critical, b) you expect
profit for the second year to deline or have huge deductions to take to
offset the amount.
I don't believe obama will raise 09 tax due to the economy situation. Money
printing is the only option for the short term.

Also, the revenue is counted as the pay day or the invoice day.
If you get a check dated 12/31/2008, I don't think you can claim as 2009
revenue even you deposited it in 1/1/2009.
A lot of companies sent out check dated 12/31/2008 to take deductions for
the year. It is not under your control.

I know that. actually it's my first year so I can choose the "cash" or "
accrual" option to make the income as 2008's or 2009's.

My suggestion is to count as 2008 and max out your deduction.
It is kind of late to get more deduction now, but you won't get any
deduction for you 2008 cost if you don't count it this year.
