Bank Statement(9000k
Dear American Consulate in Shanghai,
My name is ****. I am a doctoral student (visa category: F1) in ***
University. I wish to invite my mother-in-law *** to visit me in the United
States this winter. I am writing this letter to support her application for
a B2 visa and to clarify some of the concerns that you might have.
I came to the U.S. in 2009. I have maintained good status from the
perspective of both the immigration and financial services, and I have
traveled back to China two times since then. I will be happy to support my
mother-in-law’s trip and entire expenses during her visit to the U.S. I
earn an annual income of $27,200 and have adequate funds. Please refer to my
income certificate and bank statement.
The primary purpose of my mother-in-law’s visit is to spend time with me in
the U.S. I’m also very happy that she will have a chance to see and
experience the U.S., a very beautiful and different country from China. I
can imagine how delighted she will be with such fond memories when she
returns to China and speaks with her friends. Winter will be a good season
for her to come, since there are many holidays and I will have more free
time to accompany her. It would be wonderful if she could experience the
coming holidays, like Thanksgiving, Christmas and the New Year. I will also
be showing her around **** and Chicago. I expect her to stay here for about
3-6 months.
After this visit, my mother-in-law will go home to my father-in-law who
cannot come because my grandfather-in-law is 92 years old and needs
intensive care. Also, my parents-in-law have never been apart for such a
long time during their entire marriage. My mother-in-law has 3 daughters and
2 sons. Her first son, my husband, works in China. Her youngest son, my
brother-in-law, is a freshman in a college in China. All of her 3 daughters
have already gotten married and have their own children and houses in China.
My mother-in-law has been living in my hometown with her family and friends
for almost sixty years and enjoys living in that environment.
As my mother-in-law cannot speak English and may have some accent in
Mandarin Chinese, I greatly appreciate your patience and consideration.
Should you need any further information, please do not hesitate to contact
me.
Sincerely,
