I have been working for a small company since July this year, today
they told me that since business is declining, so they want to eliminate my
position. I asked is that " layoff", can I get some bonus? they said,"no".
bcs I am not with the company for even 1 year.
Is that true?

who said there is always bonus (i think you are trying to say package) with
layoff? Some company does not give you anything even for 1 more day's salary.
Comfort and look for another one.
