是学生，和ld一起申请的绿卡，已拿到EAD卡，但是看网上说绿卡批之前最好不要用EAD
，所以想毕业是申请OPT获得OPT的EAD

I talked to my company attorney before we filed the OPT application. He
thought it's OK but unnecessary.
"You can obtain OPT EAD as well when eligible to file, irrespective of
whether I-485 (along with EAD application) has already been filed or even if
an EAD through I-485 has already been issued. Similarly, when issued OPT
EAD, you can obtain another EAD based on I-485 filing, although there is no
benefit in having two EADs. "

But then when USCIS reviews your 485 case and found you
actually applied for F1/OPT AFTER your 485 application, you are doomed.
I suggest you seek opinions from more sources. Sometimes company attorneys
can be very incompetent.

说句老实话, 问了很多人，包括公司律师，都觉得F1/OPT after AOS is gray area.
没人敢下结论。
皮匠的blog同样也写到：“有的 F-1 只申请了 AP 而没有 EAD，那么去申请 CPT/OPT
会怎样呢？由于 CPT 是学校的 ISO 掌管的，也许你不吱声 I-485，还能蒙得一时。而
OPT 要 USCIS 批才行，你的 OPT 申请被 denied 掉，一定不要感到很意外，因为你
本就不该去申请的。可是，万一批了呢？那你就用罢。”
