再过1年半h1b到期，但就是想辞职不干了
公司刚把labor certificate递上去，那如果等140批下来是不是就可以辞职了慢慢再找
而不用担心h1b过期的问题呢？中间可以转h4
140批了以后，从旧公司到新公司中间有几个月的间隔（h4）会有影响吗

I do not agree with Jenny Yu.
As long as I-140 has been approved, and legal status has been maintained, it
is fine to change to H4 for a while, and come back to H1B if you can find
an employer to sponsor you. Your do need to start the PERM process again,
and you will be able to keep your original PD.

It is costly when you change your status from H1b to H4 and change H4 back
to H1b. USCIS is getting rich because of all your type of person and
careless filing.

If old employer bothers to withdraw your approved I-140, you won't be able
to file H1 transfer/extension beyond 6 years limit. You still have the PD
though and can work in O1 visa status in new company while restart your PERM
or do EB1.
