LD's card arrived on 10/18/2010. His 485 was approved on 10/12/2010, which
was three weeks later than mine. Our I-485 were delivered to TSC lockbox on
5/20/10, ND is 6/11/10.
After the approval of my case, we called USCIS customer service several
times for SR on my LD's case, but was declined since TSC's processing time
was 3/31/10 then. We also sent e-mail to TSC followup ([email protected]
.gov) and got reply after 18 days. We were told that we should receive a
notice about my LD's case in 30 days. Four days after the reply from TSC
followup, LD's 485 was approved.
Finally our GC journey is over. Although it was not a pleasant process, I
learned a lot, which will sure benefit my future life. One of the important
things I learned is that you should never give up your hope and should try
all possible ways to achieve your goal.
