New England.
Usually, it's expensive to install bricks and keep an even surface. Besides,
there's one more problem in New England, frost upheaval (for those never
heard of this , just google). To avoid that, every permanent structure needs
footing below frost line, which is about 4' here. But driveway can't afford
that, right? Sure, the problem is common to all driveways, true, they all
crack up eventually, but asphalt is self-curing, which makes it ideal for
New England winter.
So, are you up to leveling out all the bricks every spring? Even so, brick
edges are killers to shovels or snow blowers.
