比较长的东西在table saw上没法推。截面高而宽的东西table saw也没法cut。

table saw不就是切长的东西吗？
如果miter的话，一般也不需要推很长的距离，否则miter saw也切不了(带活动导轨的m
iter saw也就12"左右)
高可能是问题，不过miter saw切高的东西也一样费劲，我切个2x4都吵得要命了。宽不
是问题吧

Table saw should be able to do everything that Miter saw can do if it is

Sorry 路客西. But you sure like to offer opinions on things you really do
not know well. On a table saw, how can you push a really long board if you
want to miter cut it? that is the job for a miter saw (you fix the board and
move the blade to miter cut it).
I actually did use table saw to cut 12' baseboards for miter and bevel cuts.
But the results were not good because it was very hard to push the long
boards through the blade and extremely dangerous.
do not get offended but I know many rookies like myself count on this board
for useful and helpful hints to do DIY. So pls do not offer opinions if you
donot have hands-on experiences. DIY projects are more complex than you
think

table saw with miter cut is a must for hardwood floor. But
if you want to replace old baseboards with new ones, it is good to have a
miter saw as well.
If you are good at circular saw, it it enough for hardwood floor DIY. But
you must be really good at circular saw (know how to rip cut straight long
boards) in a safe way (it is more dangerous for a new DIYer than a table saw
in my opinion).

平时以各种角度切割各种粗细的方子，Miter Saw可以非常容易的完成。而用Table Saw
在8feet的方子中间45度角平直截断还是更费劲并需要技术的。

常见的table saw的saw可以事先调节角度高度，但是一般在切割过程中saw的位置保持
不变。有一些高级的table saw可能有让saw移动的滑轨，但是我从来没亲眼见过这样的。

Depending on the actual floor pattern that you choose. If they are not
parallel or perpendicular, you might be able to avoid table saw totally.
Even some conventional pattern floors many people manage to use Miter saw
alone, I am sure they cut the last row in their own harder way. But you are
right. Table saw can make this job much much easier.

这两种我都有。我的理解是jigsaw主要是在大木版上切不规则形状用的。而
recropating saw是用于切割诸如石灰板或其他比较容易切割但又角度不适合其他saw的
地方。

molding最常见的cut
如果要做bi-bevel cut的话，更没戏，当然，你要是指着caulk填大缝，当我没说

baseboard installation. It was so inaccurate and dangerous. The problem was
that there was no way to move the long baseboard along with the miter guild
even you have a extension. My point is that for safty and good results it is
worth having a miter saw than just a table saw if people need to miter/
bevel cut very long lumbers.
New DIYers are clumpzy at power tools. You do not want to give them wrong
impressions that they can do everything on a table saw.
As a matter of fact, for DIY experts, a $50 circular saw can do all things a
table saw and a miter saw do. Can you recommend to a new DIYer to just buy
a circular saw?

cut（最长7尺）的new DIYer，装了一楼的木地板。
没钱没地方买table saw, miter saw啊……好惨。

need to bevel cut the ends so that baseboards from 27' walls can join them
smoonthly.
Actually I had to bevel cut quite a few 12' baseboards all of which were cut
at the ends
