What are the commands or shortcut keys to link bibtex in TeXnicCenter? I
used months ago but forgot now. Thanks!

TeXnicCenter编译latex源文件时自己会连接，你不用操心。
如果是在Dos下手工敲命令是
latex
latex
bibtex
latex

不好意思问个初级问题。bibtex 需要特别下载吗？还是texnicenter 或者miktex 已经
包括了？在google 里查到篇文章，想import into bibtex,按了以后给我如下：
@article{stigler1964to,
title={{A Theory of Oligopoly}},
author={Stigler, G.J.},
journal={The Journal of Political Economy},
volume={72},
number={1},
pages={44--61},
year={1964},
publisher={JSTOR}
}
我怎么把它弄到bibtex 里去？

用TecNicCenter编译时它会通知MikTeX安装所需要的包，或者
MikTeX Settings -> Formats -> LaTeX -> LaTeX contrib
-> natbib
natbib是一个管理BibTeX的包。
把你这段参考文献写到一个bib文件里，比如myref.bib
在你的tex文件preamble部分usepackage{natbib}
%设定格式，optional
\bibliographystyle{plainnat}
\bibpunct{(}{)}{,}{a}{,}{,}
%在文章末尾导入参考文献列表
\bibliography{myref}

BTW, so Bibtex is not like Endnotes, with which you can write notes about an
article/book and then store the notes in the program?

bibtex是一种格式，natbib是implement这种格式的一个宏包，象
endnote的软件也有，比如JabRef。它的输出格式就是.bib
note是bibtex格式的一个field。

谢谢。endnote 有个好处，可以让google scholar 把文章的reference 直接import 到
endnote 里面去。google scholar 似乎不支持jabref.

.bib只是一个文本文件。有些索引网站比如SCI和EI的可以导出bibtex
格式。jabref也可以读入endnote的文件。
有一次我发现EndNote 7, 8, 9之间格式兼容不太好，只好用jabref
来帮它们转换。

可是这个还是不能做到从google scholar 里找到一篇文章，直接弄进jabref，然后以
后写文章需要的时候去自己的jabref 去抓这一点。不过我还是先去熟悉一下jabref 再
说。
这位apie 大虾是不是即用jabref，也用endnote?
