when I speak English, sometimes I focus on the content that I am saying, or
try to organize what I am gonna say in my mind, but lay less stress on the
mood or feeling on the story itself (语气语调), which could really make what
I say more appealing
I normally don't have this issue when I speak in Chinese. how can I improve
on this? by watching the TV and mimic the way the natives talk, any
suggestions?

好像这几年挺火啊，很多学校招HCI的faculty，感觉这个领域的论文不是很有depth啊
，大家对这个领域怎么看？

最近在写论文, 目录中的每一章每一节的页码都比实际的页码少了4页. 例如, 第一章
第一节应该是在第13页, 可是目录中显示是第9页 (整个目录部分我有6页, 可是系统只
算了2页). 这是神马问题阿? 急死了. 有没有什么命令可以直接改页数? 谢谢!

Similar here, my chinglish has exactly same tone as if I speak my native

then it's good :) if you speak your native language in a varied tone with
different pitches
when I speak English, it's like the way monks murmur their codes :P
