I am using pstex to export figures from xfig. Everything seems all right but I
couldn't see the special strings such as $\mu$. Did I miss something? Thanks!

In xfig, you have to edit the text string containing math
symbols as "special", then export it as ps_tex format.

I have done this, but it still doesn't work

how do you include the generated figure?
