When I run latex with a tex document (eg. A.tex), it requires some .sty files.
I have to copy these required .sty files to the folder where the document A.tex located. Otherwise, latex doesn't know where to find .sty files. Because I have many different files in
different folders, I am sick to copy these .sty files to all these folders. It is stupid. But I don't what I can do otherwise, so that latex could find .sty files on its own? Could anyone please help me?

You need to tell us which TeX distribution you are using, i.e., MikTeX,
teTeX, fpTeX, or something else.
LaTeX searches for files in a database, not on disk, so after you install
a package, you need to update the database. For teTeX, run "texhash";
for MikTeX, go through the MikTeX menus and look for "Refresh/update
filename database"; for fpTeX, look for "Rebuild ls-R filename databases".
For some distributions the command "mktexlsr" also works.

I use MikTex and Winedt. I have same problems too.
