I am wondering where should I put the customized bst file so that Miktex can
find it. I've tried
localtexmf/tex/latex/xxxx/xxxx.bst
localtexmf/bibtex/xxxx/xxxx.bst
none of them works and the error message always say "cannot find style file".
I will hate to put it in the texmf hierachy since that is not the default
installation. Anyone knows how to do it? Thanks a lot!

you need to refresh the file name database.

看本版647文
加一下你想要的存放.bst文件的path到ini文件就好了
