cxterm installation problem# Unix - 噫吁兮,危乎高哉

While I install Cxterm under solaris 2.6
there is always one error about adding font path.
The error is shown as the follows:
xset: bad font path element (#0), possible causes are:
Directory does not exist or has wrong permissions
Directory missing fonts.dir
Incorrect font server address or syntax
I am sure the problem will not be 1 and 2
so maybe it is 3
but how can I do to conquer this problem?
I can use the cxterm to read simplified Chinese
but can not use the input methods and a

Input method has nothing to do with this error. You just
need to give it
the right location for those input methods. Press F3, and
change the default
directory to wherever you put the input methods.
Since you can view GB, font is not a problem. To use Big5,
you just need
specify the font to use 'cxterm -fh '.

you may try "chmod 755 $HOME"
but remember to change other directory/file's access right
to protect your privacy.

No, it is not the problem in the privilege.
In fact, now I can use the input method by usning some parameters as
cxterm -hid ~/dict/gb
But the strange thing happens.
I can type the pinyin, then when I press the digit key to choose
the specific character, nothing comes out. Can you explain the
reason to me? Thanks.

岁岁,do you remember the guy in Tsinghua BBS(Temple) , hehe. I think now you
are in USA. glad to see you on MIT BBS.
I am now using Cxterm, I think your problem is very strange, maybe some stupid
error in your setup. or you do not input it on an edit window. try it again.
