I do not know exact specification of ur netcard.
Burt according to my experience in S7/intel, U should download that driver first
and make a driver update disk from image file. Then u should reboot ur machine
with ur origianl s8 boot floppy disk.
Following the instruction, u may find certain stage to add device driver.

but it is a pity that the driver is not available from either sun.com
or compaq.com, nor intel.com.
but he machine is from compaq. model is Deskpro EN, mother board has
integrated sound/networking/video devices.
