Is it possible to block some email address under pine? Is there any other way

not easy, actually you should use procmail to filter unneeded
mails, or if you are admin of your Solaris, you can use sendmail
access database to filter spams.

pine actually does provide some basic filter functionality but maybe that's not
enough for your problem. (checkout pine tech ref)
Usually, people use procmail to do complicated mail catgorizing. You need to
write your .procmailrc file. (man procmail)
