This is a FAQ. Read Sun online documentation or search google. You will see
billions of messages talking about this problem.
Basicly you have to boot the system from CDROM and mount your root directory,
then you can modify /etc/passwd back. A good lesson is never to modify
/etc/passwd manually, especially the line of root. For security reasons, I
would suggest you to keep root's login shell as sh.
By the way, I don't think Solaris 8 has chsh bundled. So you installed it from
somewhere else? Even
