in UNIX (solaris 2.7, sun ultrasparc). i tried netscape4.7,
mozilla, IE5. all of them have some problem. netscape4.7 has
trouble to give good result expecially at msn, anandtech site
etc. mozilla crashed offenly with enabled java script. but
without javascript, some page can properly displayed. IE5
looks better, but has trouble (stopped there) when visition
cnn.com.
any good suggestion, experience?

I used mozilla 1.0.0 on linux, never crashes. (it crashes on windows
occasionally). which version of mozilla are you using?

BTW, I like mozilla for two reasons:
1) tabbed browsing
2) being able to disable some javascript operation, e.g. open a new
windows and/or resize windows. this is especially useful when viewing
adult sites :)

mozilla also works fine in my home computer with linux. but
in the office, i have to use a sun workstation. under sunos
mozilla crash quit frequently. i also like the two property
you mentioned. do you know how to disable ie from openning
new windows?

No idea. you may want to wait for the release of 1.1, or try 1.1 beta
anyway.

I use mozilla under Solaris 2.7. It sometimes crashes, but not
frequent. It can display better Chinese than Netscape.
Also, I use mozilla under Linux and W2k. Both are pretty good.
The little flaw is that sometimes it response very slowly without
any reason. But after a while, it is ok.
BTW, I deny IE client to access my website. Feel very good at this.

for me, every time i visit sina.com.cn with mozilla/solaris2.7, it
crashed. really frustrating.

for chinese, it display the chracters in different size also they
should have the same size.
It crashes mostly when I am browse some Chinese website

and it is much more slow than netscape
in fact, if it has no such many problems, I will prefer it definitely
