在用malloc分配内存之前，有没有什么办法能够查看系统中还有多少剩余的内存可用？
因为想check一下有没有内存泄露。
还有，什么情况下一个process死掉后不会产生core？

vmstat, ps, and svmon, check unix manual for how to use them
if a process exits normally, no core will be created. If it exits because of
memory dump, a core file will be created
