try ctrl-alt-backspace (maybe twice, for CDE).
or just kill your xsession.

You need root password in order to do this.
Like, rlogin to your workstation to kill other user's processes.
Or just use root password to unlock the screen.

telnet in to mashine then do
kill -9 -1

如果机器上有东东在run的话,这么干损失太大

no way
root password cannot be used to unlock the screen, hehe.
on SGI Irix even if u shut down the machine by pressing the power button and
then restart it the screen will still be locked, LOL!

He/She might pressed the Caps Lock key by chance after
screen was locked.
So He/She cannot login with "correct" id and password.
That happened once to me. :)

That's weird. I remember I did this on Sun Blade100.
Maybe I used another root password?

Yeah, this is possible. A kind of stupid mistake but I saw people
did it a couple of times. hehe.
