I am installing solaris 9 now in my pc ( intel), when installing the java
enterprise.iso, it asked forthe DNS domain name, I tried several times with
local domain or some DNS which I get from other PC, it doesnot work. anybody
has ever install it? how do you guys deal with it? plus, I can not access to
the internet with netscape, is that because I have not install the java
enterprise yet or I should do something else to be able to access the web.

you can leave the DNS blank when you install some package.
can you get http://64.55.183.2 ?
