有了工作，一般都买新车，很多还分期付款，也就是把每月工资的 ２００ 元放到车
上，没有什么负担。新车省心，每天要上下班的尤其这样。

至少我是这样的。刚刚毕业工作的时候，新车首付也就3000不到，月还贷几百绰绰有余
。房子那就是另一回事了，何况大多数人绿卡下来前不敢轻易买

What's wrong with having loans? I went to B-school where most of my peers,
no matter Chinese or American, had student loans of almost $100K (And BTW, the average age of MBA class of most schools at the time of admission is 27-29yrs old)
And still a good proportion of them have bought houses after graduation
And I know several of my peers (both Chinese and American) who are in their
30s, got sports cars like Infiniti coupe and monthly payment of $400+, still

their houses foreclosure, no savings and lots of credit card debt. They

making $50K-60K a year, renting a 1BR with around $1000 per month, but

我也知道，我周围所有的相同情况老美都是贷款读的。 但目前，中国范本，就我一个
。一个日本哥们，也是存够了钱，才读的。所以他已经30中旬了。
我只是说一种生活态度，两代人的理解不理解。
就如同我一直不能理解我的一个年轻一点的朋友，在房贷还有20多万的情况下，买了X5
。也不能理解一个远房表弟，工资才7万，就买了一辆跑车。。。
或许只有30左右的男性，才能理解这种不安全感的由来。 我们肩负家庭的责任，却从
来不敢肯定自己的工作永固如山。 所以。。。

Well, I feel the difference is really not related to age, or gender, or
marriage status...just depending on one's personality. Of course, talking
about the same person, usually he is less risk-averse when he gets older,
has a family and kids, etc.
Many of my B-school peers were already married and even had kids before they
were enrolled. The two-year program was just a big risk for them to take (
and unfortunately, many didn't land well or could be even laid off due to
the economy these years).

Do you think those guyz are more ambitious than people stick to technical
jobs.
With regards to the chinese people working in the states, I bet the majority
of them are technicians, sceintists, teachers, ....
They are pretty much less risk-averse , conservative , old style and most of
them have the traditional chinese habit: deposit...
