这个中文学校看来是 weekend school，不是 after-school。
跟正规的 after-school 没有可比性。。。

另外这个学校好像也是 non-profit 的，网页上如是说：
San Diego Chinese Academy, a non-profit Academy offering
classes in Chinese Language SINCE 1988

For sure, they are for profit. Otherwise, why the parents need buy so many
script?
The parents has to pay more than $ 900 for the scrip for one kid. The school
claimed they have mre than 350 students many years ago. Total more than $
315K for this garbage sale.

Scrip is a term for any substitute for currency which is legal tender and is
often a form of credit. Scrips were created as company payment of employees
and also as a means of payment in times where regular money is unavailable,
such as remote coal towns, military bases, ships on long voyages, or
occupied countries in war time. Other forms of scrip include subway tokens,
IOUs, arcade tokens and tickets, and "points" on some websites.

确实。用了学校的 PO Box 也不说明什么。没必要搞 guilty by association。
不怕麻烦的可以学习一下这些学校都是怎么运作的，IRS 税表在此
