It is because that the balloon is made of rubber, which is permeable to the
gas molecules inside. Therefore, no matter how tight you seal the end of the
balloon, gas molecules will permeate through the thin rubber wall from the
interior of the balloon over time and it will look like that the balloon is
"跑气".
The permeation through the rubber wall is a slow process and therefore you
will not observe the "跑气" until you wait for a sufficiently long time. The
time will depend on the material and thickness of the rubber, the
temperature, the pressure in the balloon and the type of gas in the balloon.
It follows the same mechanism that you need to pump air into tires of your
car every couple of months. The major difference is that the rubber of your
tire is much more thicker and therefore it will take a much longer time
before you can observe anything different.
And a correction, the rubber is dense and there are no pores...

避孕套 is a very different case. 精子 is much larger than gas molecules and
the diffusion or permeation rate is much slower.
Therefore unless you keep your dick in her hole for several months, the 避孕
套 should be very safe!

氦气分子很小,可以穿透橡胶和塑料膜。 镀铝的气球比较耐久,但最后还是会从扎口
