４，飞车党开始毁坏路虎车，用刀扎坏了路虎车的轮胎。路虎车二度报警。
５，路虎车出于恐惧或愤怒或二者混合，突然加速冲出包围，将一名飞车党压成重伤
６，愤怒的飞车党全力追逐逃逸的路虎车，并寻找机会攻击路虎车，路虎车三度报警。
７，两个轮胎完全损坏的路虎车，最终被截停在了闹市区。飞车党开始从三面猛砸路虎
车。路虎车四度报警。警察出警了，但一时无法赶到。
８，路虎车司机被拉出车辆，遭飞车党群殴。更有飞车党成员将司机的妻子和孩子也拉
出车辆准备施暴。引起围观路人一片惊呼，大声喝止，保住了妻子和孩子的安全。
９，一名勇敢的路人，最终站出来挡住了飞车党。飞车党没敢进一步施暴，在警车出现
前，退却了。
１０，路虎车司机被送进了医院，其面部和胸部被刀划伤。治疗后离开。被压飞车党成
员则重伤，在医院昏迷不醒。
１１，一名飞车党将全过程的录像贴在了Ｙｏｕｔｕｂｅ上，引起大量关注。
１２，多名飞车党随后被抓或被盘问，竟发现其中有多名警察。

我读到有两个警察。一个是卧底。一个不是卧底，是off duty。
卧底的貌似规定是允许不暴露身份的。
但是offduty那个应该干预。目前那个offduty在被internal affair调查中。

根据NYPD说法，卧底可以不暴露，但必须报警。这个卧底完全没报警，被查到后，赶紧
找了个律师过来。

告是可以告，但不要指望能稳赢。警察没有义务去保护人，特别是在有危险的情况下，
所以有危险时绝对不要指望警察来救人，自己手里的枪刀狗比他们可靠得多。这个案例
可以做为参考：

points you heard are just story made by bikers' supporters. Please beware!
1. there is no such video or proof shows that 路虎车单个出来冒泡，不配合飞车

2. please also note that news from cnn shows that his wife's voice were
shaking for all of the 911 calls. The couple had no intention to confront
with them. Remember they have a 2 years old daughter in the car. All they
want is to get out of the grave danger situation.
3. Lien was not angry. He was scary.
3.It is interesting to notice that when I look at cnn news comments about
Lien's case, among all 4000 comments, 99% of them support Lien and criticize
the bikers, however at mit many people even believe the rumors which is
unfavorable to Lien.

美国没有警察不作为这个说法。实际上，美国的警察根本就没有一定要保护市民的义务
。这个判例已经在Warren VS. DC的案子里解释得很清楚了。

我竟可能客观。
1) West Highway是纽约环城高速，我开过多次。白天，车很多，出入口也很多，出入
口之间的距离普遍较短，任何不想与飞车党对持的人，都可以容易的离开highway避让
，这也是多数人当天这样做的。所以，连与飞车党有冲突在先，被追逐再后，虽说是飞
车党的说法，但确非常合理的。
2) 连的妻子非常紧张，可以理解。但连却不同。从头到尾，即使车的轮胎坏了，连的
车开得都相当稳，相当直。包括被飞车党包围时。连最后下高速去闹市区的策略也很成
功，借助路人干预保住了妻儿不被伤害。考虑连的背景，他的心里素质是相当的好，判
断也好。不是一个会被吓得乱来的人。

Yes, you rear ended somebody in fron of you, by default, it is your fault,
UNLESS you have evidence or witness to proove that the guy in front of you
did it intentionally and recklessly. That was shown on the video. The biker
made a SUDDEN slow down to almost a full stop. Lien could not avoid rear
ending him. He did not bump him with intention.
Lukcy that there was a video to proove this, otherwise, Lien is in much more
trouble.

It's called cut in & brake, the biker was a jerk. But it doesn't give Lien
the right to bump into the bike. The minute the bike was in front of the SUV
, Lien should have braked hard to safe distance BEFORE biker braked. Lien

我是这样看的，飞车党从一开始就是错的，这些人确实很无赖。但是，作为一个有家室
的男人，首先考虑避免冲突，而不是激化冲突，因为我们这样的人，确实没有本钱和流
氓直接冲突。
我有两个中学同学，一个以运动健将身份保送上了北大，另一个考上了清华，并读到了
博士。这两个人都很优秀，但都比较气盛。悲惨的是，最后两人都在与流氓冲突中，被
打成了严重脑震荡，智力体力和心理都严重受损，被大学纷纷辞退。一生就这样被毁了。
看连的行为，我看到了我这两位同学的影子。
飞车党是连警察都敢玩的人，要是没有录像和路人帮助，连和全家会很惨很惨。
连的行为有值得推敲的地方，

reasonable mind will try to escape.
According to NY times, during the first stop after the accident, one biker
broke the car's side mirror, others were denting his car, and another
slashed a tire with a knife.
