NASA will hold a news conference at 2 p.m. EST on Thursday, Dec. 2, to
discuss an astrobiology finding that
will impact the search for evidence of extraterrestrial life. Astrobiology
is the study of the origin, evolution,
distribution and future of life in the universe.

如果没有任何意外的话，肯定是一个要钱会。
肯定就是重复一些大家听听得耳朵起茧的话，说某某某星球的行星或者卫星
上貌似有适合生物的环境。

I watched Contact over the weekend. The movie has profound impact on the
hype of astrobiology over the past decade among the American public. Not
surprisingly, the reason Americans' support the search for extraterrestrial
life is not what NASA stated, but rather a search for evidence of God and
heaven. NASA tend to be vague about the matter, and some so called
astrobiologists are simply nuts.
