新买的笔记本，自带的VISTA HOME BASIC，我用以前买的笔记本的XP安装盘重装
了系统，只有30天的试用时间，要激活才能继续，请问如何激活？打电话给M$可以吗？
可是我用的安装盘不是这个新笔记本自带的，M$会授权激活吗？多谢了，很急！

如果康柏的机器用的是戴尔的盘，康柏也会给激活吗？

他们说他们只管vista的服务。不管xp的任何，，，，，，

have tried activate online? if online activation fails, u can see the phone
# to call.
Just tell them u need to activate ur Windows, and if they ask why u need to
activate, tell them u reinstalled windows, or changed hard drive etc.
If u install Windows using the SN that comes with (one of) ur laptop, mostly
they can just activate it for u.
