I have an old desktop HP Pavilion 4540, and
DEC MultiSys LCD 1545v. I changed the motherboard
with an OEM Via Samuel 2. But when i installed
Win2k and the computer is up, the resolution
is only 800 * 600.
I updated win2k, and re-installed driver software from HP
(I know my machine need this software to install because
it uses soft modem, and sound card is t

I had similar problem before, can't remember how I resolved it.
you can update your driver from windowsupdate.com, then windows may find the
correct driver for you...
