NT has security mechanism lacking in win9.x. Different users have
different access to different folders and files. It's more safe, but it's a
new feature to those users migrating from win9.x to W2K, and may cause much
confusion, especially some "app doesn't work" problems. I hope I can give
you some help so you won't give w2k up for this reason.
First, I suggest you not use the account of "administrator" for daily
use. Only use it for administrative work, as the name indicates, say,
