Njstar can't help too much.
1. try to open it up on a NT workstation (win2000 also can)
then copy down the files and change name into english.
2. use some powerful chinese software, richwin (? maybe)
I think you are using win98 right?
in NT we have no such problems, coz NT supports double-byte characters.

you can use win16, it's in win98,
