some program try to show icon at the tray-icon area of the task bar
so, I think just remove the program at you startup programlist
try to find
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Runonce
or something like to remove it:)
