what i did is using ACDsee resize a picture (i'm pretty sure CoreDraw

save as--select medium or less capacity--change name--save, the size will
reduce to 80 K or so.

If you are using windows XP OS, I strongly suggest you to download and install
ms powertoys: imageresizer: it's the best!
1024*768 less than 100K usually.
800*600 less than 50K.
But the quality is pretty good.
