I have two machines with totally different hardware configuration. Both
installed with windows xp pro academic version(diffrent activatin keys or
whatever).
I need to switch the hard drives between these two machines. I am afraid that
both windows os will not work anymore since it will detect totally different
hardware configuration.
Is there any way that I can do this switch easily, without go though all the
craps of data backup/software reinstallation...

if the hardwares between the 2 computers are much different(such as AMD vs
Intel), u will mostly get blue screen or never be able to login.
If xp can starts, u can just call microsoft to reactivate.
