I don't remember what I did...
in my win2k computer, I realized IE can't open any page, it shows things as
blank but show done at the left bottom status place. I created another account
and IE works fine.
In my new laptop, somehow IE can't access www.mitbbs.com with the same problem
, it also does not work at mail.yahoo.com, I can login, but when I click
delete certain mail, nothing happens...
what is wrong? is javascript disabled or what? I ran spybot, pestpatrol and
kaspersky, adware but found

things to check, activeX (I hate this, but some sites won't work without it,
very annoying), pop up blocker.
if those aren't it, add this site and yahoo.com to your trusted domain.

I suspect it is javascript problem, now that my msn mail and yahoo mail
does not work either...
it is very likely a security setting problem...

Some PDF files, like tax forms and some of the immigration forms,
can be filled in, but can not be saved. I used to be able to use
some password removal tools to remove the protection and save the
filled in PDF. But I found new PDF files with such protection can
not be remmoved. When opened in Acrobat Reader, there will be a warning
and an yellow bar on the top of the displayed file stating that "

I think this is a general problem, cause IE to misbehave in many scenarios:
1. ctl-F won't work if you want to search something on a page.
2. Yahoo/MSN mail fail to work when you want to delete mail from their
webinterface.
3. windows media player don't work saying " interal application error"
4, you can't visit mitbbs.com
