If you are a .NET developer, you might feel that Java IDE un-convenient
to use. And J2EE system takes longer time to install, J2EE app takes
longer time to deploy, J2EE app more difficult to maintain and expand.
From a comparison made by professionals, for all the above mentioned
factors, VS.NET is far better and .NET app's performance is comparable
to J2EE app's.
If you are not familiar with J2EE, you might want to find some free ones
on internet. At lease as I know, there is a free e-commerce
