在这家印度咨询公司干了大半年被terminated.
主要原因当然是我和印度老板不和,他自己没一次上午12点前到办公室,我有一次10点
到就被训了。
直接原因是5月初给客户做成果汇报,客户觉得有些数值偏低让我们检查data clearing
有没有错误,但是我的印度老板直接要求我重写model code,但是这部分由客户他们自
己的模型组负责。之后就一直训斥,他自己拒绝做任何事情 全把责任怪到我头上。于
是我给老板的老板写了封邮件说这个老板对我非常偏激我想离开这个项目能不能换个项
目,两周之后大老板(也是印度人)通知我被terminated.(写邮件的时候已经考虑道
不利的结果 但是没料到terminate对下家公司是个red flag)
termination letter没让我签字也没写任何原因,但是最后一个月多给我一周薪水我
推测是一般的layoff.
现在挂在同学开的公司(everify的)拿了OPT 延期卡 已经四个月了
到现在经过了差不多10次电话面试 几乎每次都被问离职原因,我都是按实话说的 然而
都没有后文了,所以我想问一下是不是换种说法比较号, 比如project完成了H1B又没
抽中公司把我layoff了?background check听说只会问是否rehirable不会问具体原因
? 即使只问是否rehirable 对于这家印度公司如何回复我都没底?有没有必要跟他们
商量一下?
还有一个问题,我现在挂的公司没有薪水 在做background check的时候时候会查到,
所以我现在该和同学商量去补办paycheck?
计划在美国再留一个月试试运气,如果实在不行就回国,其实国内已经找了几家公司
OFFER 勉强接受但是不想面对北上广的压力和房价啊。。。。

有,但是别人能顺利入关,不代表你父母就不会,关键遇到啥入境官。当然你如果要试
试,一定要让你父母写好你的手机号码。

1. In a normal situation, your supervisor would tell you the exact reason
that lead to the dismissal and walk you through the normal procedure. Almost
every step is documented along way.
2. Considering your scenario, there is a chance that you might not get full
disclosure from your supervisors or HR.
3. Please pardon me, but expect it to be involuntary dismissal (fire) and
the reason being is your bad job performance.
So you might have 1. Bad records which lead to dismissal. 2. Bad reference.
4. Sorry to hear you experience.

早知道这么惨 还不如当时直接写辞职信。
当然我承认有时候有点顶撞老板当面指出他的不对 , 但是从performance来说该做的
都按时做出来了,他最后提要求的要求我确实没能力,客户也没说让我们自己重写代码
,跟他提建议和model development team一起商量一下,他直接说 you are totally
responsible for this project, if you can't do simple thing like this, why do
we need you in this team?
感觉对员工一点尊重都没有,自己不做事,出了问题让你背黑锅。虽然是个悲剧的结局
,但我觉得还是比留在那里给印度人做牛做马强。
你觉得如果把我的情况解释清楚,你觉得有公司会酌情考虑吗?very unlikey?

t take it seriously.
1. If you tell the truth at the job interview, it may be difficult to
establish your convincing argument from the logos perspective in such a
short time. Thus, you must establish your convincing argument from the ethos
and pathos perspectives.
Still, in spite of the ethos and pathos connections you established, if the
employer decides to do a reference check. It will be difficult to evaluate
the absolute truth. Think about it, your employer is evaluating two
subjective statements.
2. If you do not tell the truth at the job interview, if your employer does
a reference check, then you would severely lose your credibility.
3. I suggest you to do the following,
at job interview, state that you faced discrimination. If the employer asks
further, state the sympathetic situation in two or three short sentences. 1)
Convince logos in an easy to understandable manner 2)Appeal maximum to logos
and ethos.
What happened does not matter, what it matters is, how you present yourself.
