Actually, what I found is that XML and ColdFusion(CFML) is pretty
similar. Can not find some materials talking about the diff
between the 2. Which one is newer? better? Any ideas?

i haven't used CF for almost a year now.. but unless CFML
underwent some major change this past year I would say
CFML is more like HTML than XML
and a one-line description of ColdFusion is just
an expensive way of doing what ASP already does for
free :)

i agree with you. CFML has big problems as the eearly basic has:
the poor typing system. It's very inconvenient to describe the website's
architecture writen in CFML. CFML is only good to write small web apps.
ASP is somewhat better.

a look at all the etailers.. how many use ASP?
and how manyu use JSP?
